The Healthy Organisation Model

Below is a  brief illustration that outline the core structures of The Healthy Organisation model. These illustrations offer a way of understanding the underlying systemic and psychodynamic dynamics that shape organisational health - from purpose and leadership, to culture, roles, and relationships.

This model is drawn by Philip Stokoe, whose contributions to systems-psychodynamic thinking continue to inform our practice at Thinking Space Consulting.

We use these concepts to help leaders and teams reflect on:

  • How anxiety is managed in the system

  • Where defensive patterns may be limiting growth

  • What a shift toward healthier, more reflective functioning could look like

The model serves not as a checklist, but as a lens - to support insight, dialogue, and realignment with purpose.

If you’d like to explore how this model might relate to your own organisation, or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
